Student Council

Different people…different personalities…ONE GOAL”, such is the guiding motto of the OLPHS Supreme Student Council. The student government that works hand in hand with the school’s administrators, teachers and staff, parents and benefactors to cater and provide meaningful activities that would enhance and improve the knowledge, skills and talents that are innately bestowed to all the Olphicians. The Council is composed of student leaders elected by the majority of the Olphicians. They are from the different levels although they are of different personalities they are united with ONE GOAL – serving their ALMA MATER and their fellow Olphician to their maximum potentials as student leaders.

The Council has its year-round of activities, starting with the year-round fund drive – RECYCLABLE MATERIALS. In honor of our dearest Mother, Mama Mary, we conduct the Marian Festival, an Art contest in August in celebration of the Feast of the Assumption and Marian Quiz Bee every September in observance of the Nativity of Mary. The Council together with the ACP Department spearhead the “Alay Pagmamahal” in celebration of the feast day of our patroness and “Alay Pag-ibig” on Christmas season, activities wherein Ophicians generously share God’s blessings through in kind for our adapted communities (House of Mary Foundation, Congregation of St. John the Baptist and Children’s Home of the Trinitarian Handmaids of the Divine Word ).Trick or Treats for the preschoolers and showcase of talents during the Foundation Day Celebration.

During Christmas time the SSC officers with their SSC advisers, Administrators and some teachers visit the two adopted communities and conduct gift giving and games. They have fun playing and singing with them. Refreshments are served for them and all of them look forward to this outreach activity of the Council.

As student leaders they are given opportunities to meet other student leaders in the Division of Pasig City by attending the annual PAPRISA Leadership Training and Workshop. This aims to enhance further their leadership skills and promote camaraderie among other student leaders from the division. For Academic Year 2013-2014, here are the newly set of SSC officers:
