The teachers of the mind who touch the hearts and thus, transform the lives of countless students who enter and leave the portals of OLPHS. These are only some of the best qualities that can be mentioned when describing the members of the school faculty. Educated, competent, motivated, dedicated and most of all, professional in the accomplishment of tasks and united in challenges that arise each and every school year that comes and goes.
Even before the school year begins, members of the faculty undergo a rigorous professional, spiritual and sometimes even personal in-service training to prepare themselves in handling the various demands of modern-day students and the requirements as set by the Department of Education (DepEd). This is in addition to attendance in numerous seminar workshops and training programs organized by various organizations both from the government and the private sector which beforehand, is meticulously scrutinized beforehand by the principal and the academic coordinator as well as the pre-school directress to ensure that the content of the training, whatever the cost, will improve the teaching skills, creativity, talent and tenacity of the OLPHician mentor.
Currently, there are forty two (42) members of the illustrious OLPHician faculty who are assisted by non-teaching and support staff. The pillar and guide of this institutional family is the Bulacan raised and FEU educated matriarch, Ms. Flora J. Mendoza who currently serves as School Principal and at the same time, Chairman of the Board of Incorporators of OLPHS.
